Le métro de Boston est le plus vieux en amérique du nord; il date de 1897. Il est mélange de train régional , de métro et de tramway ( la ligne verte). L’ensemble des lignes circulants en souterrain dans el centre ville. The Bosgon subway is the oldest subway in north america. The fisrt line was opne in 1897. It is a mixture of regional train, traditional subway and tram (the green line). All lines are underground dowtown.
Due to the density of homes in the neighborhood, the tunnel entrance had to cut directly through the lower floors and basements of some buildings.

Boston MA : Beacon Hill and Back Bay

Back bay et beacon hill sont considérés comme les quartiers chics de Boston; il est intéressant de déambuler dans les rues de beacon hill en particulier aux printemps lorsque le quartier se colore de pétales roses et blanches. En hiver seul la couleur blanche immaculé persiste mais le quartier vaut quand même le détour. En bas de la cote, de nombreux restaurants vous invitent à déguster un brunch ou un petit café. Back bay et ses longues rues aux maisons styles victoriens laisse aussi la rêverie et l’envie de flâner s’expriment.

It is interesting to stroll through the streets of Beacon Hill particulary in spring when pink and white petals litter the streets and smells invade the city. Quand on se promène dans les rues de Boston, une ville que je fréquente pour la 3eme fois, on est impressionné par le coté culture et classe de la population. On a l’impression que la population a une certaine éducation et un certain raffinement. Boston est la région des prestigieuses universités américaines comme Harvard. La visite du Restaurent universitaire à elle seul vaut le détour. La bibliothèque publique de boston, la plus grande des états unis, est aussi un lieu prestigieux et incontournable. C’est un français, monsieur Alexandre Vatemmar qui en 1841 proposa de regrouper en un seul lieu tout les ouvrages de la ville.
